Hager’s subsidiary in Norway joined the UTU family April 1st this year. Of course it has been a big change for all employees in Norway, but so far everyone is happy. None of us knew much about Finnish culture and work habits, but we found them very much alike the way we are doing our day to day business.
The biggest change is to go from a big multinational cooperation to a medium sized family owned company. Everything is less complicated and straight forward.
We were also so lucky to be invited to UTU’s 100 years anniversary party. We found out that Finns celebrate the same way as we in Norway. It might have been a Norwegian party, as well. Well maybe except for the mysterious stuff ”Lonkero” which is unknown outside Finland, but nice anyway 🙂
We have also had the opportunity to visit the UTU premises in Ulvila. This is a highly professional factory filled with skilled employees. I am sure that UTU Norway will benefit a lot in the future, when we start to sell products and solutions from Ulvila factory.
Being together always makes us stronger and I´m sure our combined skills and courage will benefit both UTU Finland and UTU Norway.
It´s all about people in our business.
Hagerin tytäryhtiö Norjassa yhdistyi UTU-perheeseen 1.4.2019. Tämä on ollut totta kai iso muutos työntekijöillemme Norjassa, mutta tähän asti kaikki ovat olleet muutoksesta iloisia. Emme tienneet entuudestaan paljoakaan suomalaisesta kulttuurista tai työtavoista, mutta olemme huomanneet, että päivittäisessä työnteossa työtapamme ovat hyvinkin samankaltaisia.
Suurin muutos on ollut se, että emme ole enää suuri kansainvälinen toimija (kuten Hager), vaan nyt olemme osa keskisuurta perheomisteista yhtiötä. Asiat toimivat yksinkertaisemmin ja helpommin.
Saimme kunnian osallistua UTUn 100-vuotisjuhlaan. Huomasimme, että suomalaiset juhlivat hyvin samalla tavalla kuin norjalaiset. Aivan kuin olisimme juhlineet Norjassa, lukuunottamatta mysteeristä ”Lonkeroa”, joka on tuntematon muualla kuin Suomessa, mutta hyvää silti 🙂
Olemme myös vierailleet UTUn Ulvilan toimipisteellä, jossa on hyvin ammattimainen tehdas taitavine työntekijöineen. Olen varma, että UTU Norja hyötyy tulevaisuudessa paljon siitä, että voimme alkaa myydä Ulvilan tehtaalla valmistettavia tuotteita ja ratkaisuja.
Yhdessä olemme paljon vahvempia, ja olenkin varma, että kun yhdistämme kaiken rohkeutemme ja taitomme, koko pohjoismainen UTU hyötyy tästä paljon.
